MONACO, 14 October 2025 — Lady Monika Bacardi attended CHOKOLASHOW® 2025, the distinguished Monegasque event celebrating the convergence of art, chocolate, and charitable purpose. The second edition took place on 13 and 14 October at the Méridien Beach Plaza, transforming the elegant venue into a captivating showcase of creative expression and humanitarian commitment.
Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, CHOKOLASHOW® has established itself as a singular occasion in Monaco’s cultural calendar, uniting renowned chocolatiers, international artists, and philanthropic figures for an inspiring celebration. Lady Monika Bacardi’s presence underscored her sustained dedication to initiatives that seamlessly blend artistic innovation with meaningful social impact.
The two-day gathering featured eight chocolate artworks created by international artists, each exploring nautical themes through the unique medium of chocolate. Prince Albert II graced the culminating evening of 14 October, viewing the chocolate sculptures and engaging with the artists whose works demonstrated remarkable creativity and technical mastery. The Sovereign received a refined three-dimensional chocolate piece as a gift and signed ceremonial chocolate bars that symbolized the event’s fusion of artistry and tradition.
The highlight of CHOKOLASHOW® 2025 was a charity auction that raised 9,300 euros for nine beneficiary associations, with a special donation designated for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The auction, directed by Wannenes Maison d’Enchères, showcased the eight chocolate artworks alongside a crystal sculpture titled Bandes-Littorales by artist Antoine Pierini, offered by the Passion Sea association.
Artist Toni Belfatto won the CHOKOLASHOW® Trophy 2025 with approximately 1,500 public votes, reflecting widespread appreciation for his chocolate creation. As tradition dictates, Belfatto will create the trophy for the 2026 edition, ensuring artistic continuity within this distinguished event.
A gastronomic dinner coordinated by Antonio Fochi, Vice President of the Slow Food Presidium of the Principality of Monaco and the Côte d’Azur, welcomed 200 guests. Chef Laurent Colin crafted a menu that highlighted chocolate’s aromatic nuances throughout multiple courses, with cacao provided by event partner Agricacao. The culinary experience was complemented by carefully selected wines and spirits offered by various sponsors, creating an atmosphere of refined conviviality.
Throughout both days, guests experienced artistic chocolate demonstrations, tastings, and cultural moments that showcased chocolate as both an edible delight and a creative medium. The proceeds from CHOKOLASHOW® 2025 reinforced the event’s mission to inspire generosity through innovation and culture, supporting charitable projects that create meaningful impact in communities worldwide.
