MONACO, 20 June 2014 — The Yacht Club de Monaco celebrated the grand inauguration of its new clubhouse on June 20, 2014, in a distinguished ceremony attended by prominent figures from Monaco society and the international yachting community.
HSH Prince Albert II presided over the official opening of the new premises, marking a historic moment for the prestigious institution. The ceremony was attended by members of the royal family, government ministers, and architect Lord Norman Foster, who designed the striking contemporary building.
Lady Monika Bacardi, a longstanding member of the Yacht Club de Monaco, attended this significant milestone in Monegasque life. The new building represents a major development designed to strengthen Monaco’s position as the world capital of yachting.
