Ambi Group’s psychological thriller “Lavender” selected to screen at Film Festival in New York

AMBIÕs much anticipated psychological thriller ÒLavenderÓ will make its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this April as part of the Spotlight section Ð an exclusive lineup of marquee filmmakers, star performers and big issues.

ÒLavenderÓ stars Abbie Cornish (ÒLimitless,Ó ÒRobocop,Ó ÒSucker PunchÓ), Dermot Mulroney (ÒAugust: Osage County,Ó ÒThe GreyÓ), Justin Long (ÒTuskÓ, ÒLive Free or Die HardÓ), and Diego Klattenhoff (ÒThe Black List,Ó ÒHomelandÓ). When a traumatic car crash leaves a photographer (Abbie Cornish) with severe memory loss, she begins to discover strange clues that suggest she may have been responsible for the death of family members she never knew she had.

Directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly, who also co-wrote the script with Colin Frizzell, the film was produced by Dave Valleau (ÒReasonable Doubt,Ó ÒCapote,Ó ÒImaginarium of Dr. ParnassusÓ) and Gass-Donnelly through their respective companies, South Creek Pictures and 3 Legged Dog Films.

Andrea Iervolino and Monika BacardiÕs AMBI Group co-financed the film alongside Silvio MuragliaÕs Paradox Studios and Telefilm Canada, with additional financing provided by The Movie Network, a division of Bell Media, Movie Central, and the Harold Greenberg Fund. Iervolino and Lady Bacardi are executive producers along with Jennifer Levine, Emily Alden, Tex Antonucci, and Alexandra Klim.

ÒLavenderÓ will have its World Premiere screening at the festival on the evening of April 18, with Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi in attendance.
