Monika Bacardi is currently in Cannes for the festival and has announced the next production of a biopic on Dionne Warwick’s life.
LeToya Luckett will perform the role of the famous singer on a screenplay by Randall Jahnson based on the autobiography 2010 My Life as I see it. Luckett was one of the first members of Destiny’s Child, which was led by Beyonc. She will also take part in the elaboration of the soundtrack of the film.
The film Dionne should be shot at the end of 2017, beginning of 2018 for a theatrical release in early 2019.
