Venice80: Monika Bacardi Honored For her Contribution To Italian Cinema

ILBE Group producers were honored for their efforts in promoting and enhancing Italian cinema abroad;
The important award was presented as part of the Variety Golden Globe Awards, an evening dedicated to the stars of the film world and part of the celebrations for the 80th Venice International Film Festival.
Venice, September 1, 2023 – Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi were honored with the Variety Golden Globes Breakthrough Producers Award for their contributions to Italian cinema at the Variety Golden Globe Awards, an event that is part of the celebration of the 80th Venice International Film Festival.

The award was given to the two producers for their continued commitment to the enhancement and promotion of Italian cinema abroad.

Iervolino and Bacardi were honored for their active role in promoting the Italian “seventh art.” The award comes as the crowning achievement of a long career made up of cinematographic successes, often dedicated to telling the stories, faces and protagonists of Italian genius. A promotion of “Made in Italy” that also sees the ILBE Group always committed to involving Italian professionalism in projects of wide international scope.
