Lady Monika and Johnny Depp visited Belgrad for the studio opening of “Puffins Impossible”.
The inaugural season of Serbia’s first global distribution animated series, “Puffins Impossible,” has reached completion. This show is a spinoff of the renowned “Puffins” series and features Johnny Depp in the leading role.
This endeavour was brought to life through the aid of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia. It was conceived in the Iervolino Studios (IES), a studio dedicated to the production of animated content, owned by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi. They are also the founders of the parent company, Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment (ILBE). The production credit goes to Archangel Digital Studios (ADS), an enterprise established by Miloš Biković. Mr Depp made a special trip to Belgrade to participate in the promotion of this project, meeting with the creators at Iervolino Studios for a project anticipated worldwide.
The main character, Johnny Puff, is modelled in both voice and appearance after the esteemed Hollywood actor, Johnny Depp. The character finds himself amidst superheroes, taking on the role of a ninja in this novel series.
“Puffins Impossible is a great story for all ages. It is by turns funny, charming, absurd, abstract and educational. I very much enjoyed working on this project and I hope it will repeat the success of the Puffins series it derives from. The work that has been done in just one year is simply amazing. I’m delighted with the creativity of the people from Serbia” commented Johnny Depp.
Lady Monika Bacardi, the co-founder of the Serbian IES studio and Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment, also made her appearance in Belgrade. Lady Bacardi was recently bestowed with the title of ‘Producer of the Year’ at the Italia – Los Angeles 2021 festival.
