FLORENCE, 9 May 2023 — Lady Monika Bacardi participated in Intelletto Delle Donne, a distinguished event dedicated to promoting gender equality and celebrating women’s contributions to media and cinema. The gathering took place at Palazzo Guadagni Strozzi Sacrati in Florence as part of Europe Day celebrations.
Producer and We Do It Together founder Chiara Tilesi curated a compelling panel examining the importance of narrative and the role of women in media and cinema. President Giani referenced both Dante’s verse “Donne ch’avete intelletto d’amore” (Women who have the intellect of love) and Rita Levi Montalcini’s observation that “Women are the backbone of society” to underscore the strategic importance of supporting women’s potential for inclusive and sustainable development.
