VENICE, 6 September 2026. Lady Monika Bacardi was among the guests at amfAR Venezia, the benefit gala held during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The evening raised funds for the Foundation for AIDS Research, a cause she has supported again this year as a patron.
The gala took place at the Molino Stucky Venice on the island of Giudecca, a short distance from the Lido. It gathered film personalities, artists, designers, and friends of the foundation.
The programme combined cocktails, a black-tie dinner, and a live performance, with Bebe Rexha and Mimi Webb announced among the artists. The centrepiece was a live auction of contemporary artworks and one-of-a-kind experiences, with proceeds supporting amfAR’s research. World Gold Council was the presenting sponsor of the evening.
Support for scientific research and humanitarian causes has long been part of Lady Monika Bacardi’s life.
