NEW YORK, 11 July 2017 — Lady Monika Bacardi, distinguished producer with AMBI Group, announced the production of the romantic drama “Best Day of My Life,” featuring Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the lead role.
The announcement, featured in Variety magazine, confirmed that Fabien Constant would direct the film from a screenplay written by Laura Eason. The distinguished ensemble cast includes Isabella Rossellini, Common, Simon Baker, Taylor Kinney, and Gus Birney, bringing together exceptional talent for this emotionally layered narrative.
“Best Day of My Life” follows Vivienne, portrayed by Parker, a jazz vocalist in New York City who lives for her art. After receiving a diagnosis that profoundly alters her world, the story follows Vivienne over an intense 24-hour period as she prepares for an upcoming world tour, navigates complex relationships and familial obligations, and reflects on her life’s journey.
The project represents the second collaboration between Sarah Jessica Parker and AMBI Group, following the romantic comedy “All Roads Lead to Rome,” which was released in 2015 and directed by Ella Lemhagen. Parker serves not only as the film’s star but also as producer alongside Alison Benson and Lady Monika Bacardi.
Principal photography commenced that week in New York City, with Lady Monika Bacardi’s AMBI Group handling production alongside strategic partners. The film was later released in 2018 under the title “Here and Now,” premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival before its theatrical release through AMBI Distribution and Paramount Pictures.
